Their Need

Treasure Data had been using an AppExchange CPQ tool to execute their pricing and quoting.  As pricing complexity increased, this tool no longer supported business needs.  This had the potential to limit future growth.  Challenges included:

  • Complex quotes took as long as a week to complete

  • Manual intervention/oversight required for most quotes

  • Concern about pricing consistency/accuracy

  • Difficult to add new product lines

  • Lacked visibility into product margins when negotiating specific deals

  • Need to support multiple currencies


Our Solution

DoubleTrack implemented Salesforce CPQ+ and Sales Cloud to create one centralized hub for customer data, better sales pipeline management and automated sales quoting processes. We also configured a few key integrations to enhance their instance and create an even more streamlined quoting process including;

  • Salesforce CPQ Plus

  • Sales Cloud

  • Conga Quote Generation for CPQ Plus

  • QCP (quote calculator plug-in) added to handle multi-year contracts with variable commitments by year

  • Integrations work included: Salesforce & AWS (Axia is AWS Certified), NetSuite via Celigo, IronClad, JIRA

  • AppExchange Apps/Partners: IronClad, Conga Quote Generation, Celigo, Axia My Items to Approve

  • Managed Services (post implementation)

  • Treasure Data has engaged Axia Managed Services on an ongoing basis to assist with defining and executing subsequent steps in their CPQ roadmap.
